Concrete Tanks - Below Ground
|
Australian Tanks have designed and built a range of unique T44 precast tanks (5,000 - 10,000 - 15,000 - 20,000, 25,000 litres). Each of the tanks have a unique and clever rectangular base that was designed to overcome hydrostatic pressure issues associated with underground tanks - this allows our tanks to be drained empty and for a client to not be concerned with our tanks popping out of the ground. Australian Tanks have also developed a smart and effective way of connecting our concrete tanks together using specifically designed tank flange adaptors installed from inside of our tanks with an external flange and we connect the flange adaptors using swivel joints - this approach generally overcomes problems associated with ground movement. Our tanks can have any required inlet and overflow configuration and connecting two, three, four or more tanks actually allows for a fast and efficient solution to any size water storage requirement. Why Australian Tanks is the smart choice - In comparison to alternatives, we believe we have the edge in water & waste water tank solutions in the market place. The three main reasons: PRICE Australian Tanks solutions are significantly more cost effective than comparable options available. OH & S Because our tanks and systems are installed so quickly we reduce occupational health and safety challenges associated with having an excavation open for extended periods of time whilst building onsite tanks. There is also less requirement for workers to be in deep excavations or confined spaces for long periods of time associated with in situ tanks. SPEED We can generally install one of our tank configurations inside a day and they can be completely backfilled and ready for traffic on the day of install or the next day – insitu options can take 3-4-5 weeks before they are cured to full strength and you are allowed to drive over the top of them.

The tanks can be completely burried below ground and turfed or concreted over - all you will ever see is a 600mm manhole. |
They can be placed in ground, so that the lid (on the portion above ground level) can be turned into the base for your new deck with pergola, the new BBQ area, even a helicopter landing pad! | Tanks can be simply lowered into an excavation and backfilled immediately. |
